Our very own Noomi Rapace in a stunning Balmain dress at the film festival in Venice last week.

Noomi and Balmain-a perfect match! Strong, powerful and glitzy but at the same time feminine, soft and classic. Don´t you think?! She does it well.

Wow. Those Flared Leg Warmers from Alexander Wang are really growing on me. Such a wonderful styling piece for fall. Warming as well. I love this picture. Must check out Vogue China too soon.

Kate Moss in that lovely lovely Isabel Marant Keni Leather Jacket and 2 x Bracelet Johns (as in the previous campain picture too) with a denim jacket under. Simply beautiful!

An alternative to the immensely popular Houlihans from J Brand are Current Elliot own version called The Slouchy Seamed Cargo in Combat Green. It is in full lenght and ever so gorgeous. We have the denim legging in this darker military green colour too. Team with your leopard and shealings for the right look this fall.

Current Elliot are doing their own version of the Chloe Denim Shirt too. The Perfect Shirt with denim patch or leather patch. Your choice. Perfect with your camel pants, this is. They are also introducing a t-shirt program. A Crewneck in Dirty White Destroy, Washed Out Black and a Game Shirt in Clay Destroy is what we have ordered. Should be interesting to examine. A Soldier Combat Jacket is coming in too. I would team this under a fur vest or even a fur bomber come winter. This is great as an indoor jacket too.

Like I have said before, everything should be in store next week and online at www.shopmrsh.se the week after that. Can not wait.

Except for the occasional denim shorts on my summer vacation, I have not worn jeans seriously since spring. But I have an itch for them now. I am such a denim girl. Once I start wearing them, they do not come off. This is good one. The Roller from Current Elliot. How I love that brand. They do the softest denim around. Already worn in. Ready to love. Coming to your Mrs H store next week.

Another must-have piece for fall (and for me) are these brilliant zig-zag tights from Rick Owens. A fun way to break off from the black pieces in my wardrobe that is Rick Owens (and should be black too if I may say so).

I have already bought myself a pair. Expect to see me in these zig-zags every other day come fall. Love them!

Mrs H sell some AMAZING Fake Fur this season too as an alternative to real fur. They are every bit as warm and cozy you know and we do respect that customers feel and act differently regarding fur and the industy. Like this leopard fur coat from SONIA that can actually be worn in three ways. Check out the “On The Floor Blog” for a video demonstration later today.

Oh and there is a fur bag too. How very winter 2011. Warmth for the chilly days to come!

I know. In theory I own many shoes from the past season looking something like this. But not quite. I mean this one has a pointy toe and in addition to the slim wedge it features a bonus heel in the cutout detail. Stitches are in contrast white. Ann Demeulemeester knows how to make us want a new shoe (or two) every season. I am sold!

This is a really funny leo shoe from Rochas. The proportions are way off or is this the fever talking?!

The Family Stone Bracelet by Isabel Marant. Are these the stones and colours from her own family shield or are these the colour family as stones representing this collection and season or am I like hypnotized by this magic bracelet?!

A “Hot Cookie” on Guldknappengalan, Agnes. She totally rocked in her leather and those gold Giuseppes.

Home sick, in my bed, staring out of the window, dreaming about all those wonderful new arrivals of fall clothes, bags and shoes that is coming in daily to www.shopmrsh.com now. What to get? You tell me!

You can probably tell that I have been pining for this fur coat since the beginning of time (or at least since February when I first saw it in the Ann Demeulemeester showroom).

Well, now it is mine. An investment buy (to put it mindly). But you know. I am worth it. And I refuse to freeze my ass off another long, cold and snowy winter here in Stockholm. Consider me prepared.

So what is SONIA up to this autumn/winter 2010. Well, you are welcome to see the collection in the Mrs H Store now (it has arrived finally) or you can view some pictures from the lookbook here below.

I am not always in agreement with their styling though, but you will get a rough idea. The stripes are in lovely colours this season. Remember that our stock of the meter scarf will not last until Christmas.

My personal favourites are the leopard boots (both the flats and the platforms actually), the camel hat and the hearts dress. I love the dots too.

These boots are made for walking, and that’s just what they’ll do,

one of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you…

Lyrics by Frank Sinatra and boots by Alexander Wang.

I am actually going to buy my fall boots tomorrow before my size sell out! I advise you to do the same.

I saw these gorgeous sneaker wedges from Isabel Marant in Copenhagen. Never thought I would say gorgeous about a sneaker in my whole life. But you should never say never right?!

Picture snapped by Garance Dore by the way, not me. I could never take a picture like that. But the sneakers were ever so gorgeous in real life I can tell you. Coming to us at Mrs H sooner than later we hope.

They might be a little bit too young for me. Not that I really care about that when push come to shove. I am still completely in love with the sporty look though. It is in my DNA. I hope it will never go out of fashion.

Instead of presenting the standard campaign pictures for the new RTW collection, Alexander Wang goes video and so much better don´t you think?! Clothes in movement with music are the future!

I went to Paris in the beginning of July to view the first look of spring 2011 but I did not report back to you guys. So here comes a brief report from my meet with Christopher Kane. He went Galactic for resort. Even though I did not have a chance to actually see my very own favourite looks in real life. They were already out to press. Figures!

Anna Wintour had taken a liking to the first look, the Red Hubble 2 Rah Rah Dress, which is the dress I ended up taking a personal order for too (not to forget for the Mrs H store too), the Flying Saucer look next were at French Vogue if I am not mistaken and the third look, the very lovely pink chiffon leather combo, was out to a celebrity fitting or something. Good that they had lookbooks then.

Another interesting look was this Princess dress that could be shorten with a simple unzipping of the hem. Expect some pretty amazing t-shirts and tank dresses too in galactic, mystic, deep, full and star prints. I am not tired of them yet.

But the very very best of what I saw of everything from the resort collections, period, were these ADORABLE fluffy cosmic Lolita shoes! I want them in pink of course. Pray that I will get my hands on them before they sell out. What a surprise they are-surprising every possible outfit you will ever want to wear come next spring. Love that in a shoe!

God, summer came and went so fast it almost feels like I never had a vacation. Which is untrue. I had two. Lovely and warm, they were. And now it is autumn. In store at least. I do not know where to begin. Telling you about all the new and exciting things for fall. There is just too much of it. And I want it all…

Let me begin by telling you how much I adore Maison Martin Margiela for fall. I quess you have seen the shoes already online. They are selling like cupcakes in store too. Because they are perfect. Just perfect. There is something for everyone here. Not just the usual bunch of unusal ankle boots. We are talking major comeback in tall boots this season too. I love how Margielas knee-high boots have a wider shaft than other brands. It truly make a boot more elegant, I think. And the attitude of them all. Below is a very tall boot that have not hit the store yet. Although I personally love it in white as pictured, we decided to buy it in black for the store as the white will give the illusion of a thicker leg which many may not like. Is it not great?! Folded down even more so. I got to have this boot. Shearling being THE major trend and all this season.

Maison Martin Margiela does more in the category of good furry things. This fur scarf is yet another favourite of mine. Being made up from three different types of fur and slightly assymetrical, it can be worn on top of every coat, jacket or parka this season. I prefer it worn indoors though, as a scarf over a fancy dress or over a plain old tee and jeans. How about that for versibility!

Fall at Mrs H has alot to offer. On Monday Aug 16 all staff are back at work so expect daily blog entries and new arrivals online and in store on a very regular basis. You can count on it! More news to come then…

Boy oh boy. I really really love the buckles on Balmain´s newest boots. These mexican/navajo style concho buckles in silver is a must have for early fall. Then for winter you probably know it will be all about them golds.

I am going to preorder me a pair of the Balmain Concho Style Silver Buckle Flat Boot so that when I come back after my summer vacation, I have something new and exciting to wear. Can´t wait, I predict a bestseller!

Now this is what I call an inspiring clutch. The Leopard Siamese Clutch by Alexander Wang that was seen at Couture week in Paris and snapped by Tommy Ton is totally awesome! Best worn with something simple like a tee, jeans and a good boot.

I forgot to tell you. I saw snow too in the mountains. Of course. I think that I need to visualize this picture while trying on the new fall stuff that is beginning to arrive at Mrs H now in the middle of the heat wave of this summer.

Or I might just skip this fall altogether (not to mention this summer) and get prepared for buying the spring collections for NEXT year in Paris at the end of this week. Confused?! Not me.

16 06/10
9:40 am

Most wanted. By me at least. This I could see myself picking up in the Mrs H store sometime soon. Like tomorrow. For my vacation and the rest of the summer too.

1. Like I said. I am a trouser person this year. So what. Every other day is a cloudy and not so warm day anyway in Sweden, so I might just as well pick up a new pair. I do not own a suede pant and these are really flattering and summery I think. A must buy from Haider Ackermann!

2. Can you think of a better beach coverup than this breezy leopard dress by SONIA?! So easy to throw on and still look fabulous for lunch with sandals or even for dinner with a pair of heels during your vacation. I so picture this dress blowing in the air on a boat trip too. You can probably see the print for miles!

3. There is something so NOW about these sandals from Balmain/Giuseppe Zanotti. I gotta have them!

4. For summer you need 3 bags and then you are set for all eventualities; 1: a big weekender or a practical but good looking rugsack, 2: a beach bag preferably in fabric. 3: a small but cool sling bag for lunch, sightseeing, drinks, dinner and clubbing. This one from Alexander Wang hit top marks and you can even use it as a camera bag. The chain doubles as a necklace too!

5. I have been thinking about this sweatshirt tank dress from Alexander Wang T for a while. I like that it is sporty and that it is somewhere between a tunic and a dress which makes it easy to combine. I see myself using this over my white tights, over a bikini and even as a casual evening dress with lots and lots of jewelry piled on.

10 06/10
1:38 pm

The Captain Trousers from Current Elliot are quite versatile pants for such an affordable price. That could be why they are almost sold out. They look good too. Dressed up or down. I love clothes like this.

08 06/10
8:05 pm

I have been shopping in my own closet lately as I have not been out for a while. Found an old brown bag from Fendi in there from way back in the days and these Sigerson Morrison ikatsandals from the summer of 2008. Some things are made to last. Both design and quality wise.

The faded black jeans are another “Oldie But Goodie” from Current Elliot. A similar pair can be found here or here. I have trouble getting out of my pants and long skirts this summer. Them legs are pretty pale and not so tasty either…

07 06/10
2:13 pm

Not that I ever watch Gossip Girl, but Anja told me about this look and I googled up some pictures. Taylor Momsen in the new and superhot Current Elliot Studded Jeans Jacket with something animal and tie-dyed underneath. You get a similar look wearing this Herve Leger skirt to this jacket. This new slightly smudged dove-grey denim colour is coming in very hot for prefall I can tell you. I LOVE IT! I like the denim pant in this colour too.

This is also a great look for taking summer into fall. If you want to be first sporting a new look and I bet you will!

05 06/10
9:36 am

Inspirational stuff I might add. Starting off with these extravagant strappy heels from Giuseppe Zanotti in gold and silver. Sometimes this is all you need. And I must say that I prefer a stiletto to a chunky heel for this look. Instantly makes it glamourous. By the way I love this new shape of a leather short too. The lace-up is wicked! Wear it with your most dressed-down and bleached-out tee.

Fish-Print from Proenza Schouler meets Tie-Dye. Lovely. Absolutely Lovely! We have jeans from J Brand in various tie-dye on sale in our Mrs H Outnet now that can easily be cut off to make a similar pair of shorts.

Olivia Palermo in the most popular gingham dress from Christopher Kane. You are going to regret not getting a dress from this collection. What I love the most apart from the pattern itself, is the skirt shape. It is 50s inspired and full, BUT modern and summery at the same time in that it is slightly see-thru AND pleated. It moves like a dream. And the bustier part works on every bust size somehow, even flatchested. Which is darn clever! Put a leather jacket over on a chilly summer night and you have that pretty and tough look that is so signature for this season. Brilliant! I am getting either one of these dresses for midsummer.

Hope that you enjoy your weekend now! Unfortunately I have to work today, but I am cruising with the suntop down on my car, out in the sun tomorrow. Definitely. Summer is short over here.
